MiniMeterIII

MiniMeterIII TM wireless kilowatt hour meters provide the latest in electricity metering and communication technology. These small and versatile metersare suitable for use in any application where it is necessary to meter electricity. Applications include metering electricity in residential, commercial, industrial and recreational facilities. Including RVparks and marinas.

MiniMeterIII TM is available in:

Single phase one element (MMIII 1x120/208VAC and 1x277/480VAC).
Two element versions (MMIII 2x120V/208VAC and 2x277V/480VAC).
Three element versions (MMIII 3x120V/208VAC and 3x277V/480VAC).

MiniMeterIII TM is available with 100, 200, 400, or 800 amp current transformers (CT’s) or it can be secondarily connected to large window type current transformers to provide coverage up to 6000 amps. MiniMeterIII TM voltage input terminals can be directly connected to rated AC voltages plus or minus 20% of their voltage rating. When used with an appropriate instrument transformer, MiniMeterIII TM can also accurately meter power at any voltage. MiniMeterIII TM can be used anywhere there is a need to meter electricity. MiniMeterIII TM includes phase reversal indicators on each phase of the meter.This feature makes it easy for the electrician to install the meter correctly the first time, thus saving many hours during the installation and system verification process.

MiniMeterIII TM includes automatic calibration software that makes it easy to calibrate at the factory or in the field. MiniMeterIII TM provides two forms of pulse output. One can be connected to an electronic or electro-mechanical counter. The other output is fully isolated and can be used to connect to any number of Automatic Meter Reading (“AMR”) systems that are on the market. MiniMeterIII TM can also be used with a ZigBee communications module that plugs directly into the MinMeterIII motherboard. The ZigBee communication module is fully contained inside of the meter’s case. With the ZigBee module plugged into the meter, the meter becomes part of a wireless communications network that is capable of handling more than 2000 meters. MiniMeterIII TM includes enough memory to store the usage data for 45 days in 15 minute increments. This feature, when used with the ZigBee network, allows MiniMeterIII to be used for applications where it is necessary to provide demand and/or time of use metering.

MiniMeter-II

The MSI MiniMeter-II TM kilowatt hour meters provide the latest in electricity metering technology. This small and versatile meter is suitable for use in any application where it is necessary to meter electricity usage in kilowatt hours. Applications include metering electricity in residential, commercial, industrial and recreational facilities.

MSI MiniMeter-II TM meters are available in single phase one element (MM21120) and two elements versions (MM22120). A three-phase (MM23120) version is also available.

The MSI MiniMeterII TM is available with 100 or 200 amp current transformers (CT’s) or it can be secondarily connected to large window type current transformers to provide coverage up to 5000 amps.

The MiniMeter-II TM voltage input terminals can be directly connected to all AC voltages up to 150 VAC line to neutral. When used with an appropriate instrument transformer, the MSI MiniMeterIITM can also accurately meter power at any voltage. The MSI MiniMeterIITM can be used anywhere there is a need to meter electricity.

The MSI MiniMeter-IITM is a UL recognized component suitable for all indoor applications when housed in an UL approved indoor enclosure or circuit breaker panel. The MSI MiniMeter-II is also suitable for all outdoor applications when housed in a NEMA 3R or other approved watertight enclosure.

The MSI MiniMeter-II TM has a built-in Phase Rotation Test capability. The “REVERSE LINE” indicator will light when the meter is incorrectly connected. This feature makes it easy for the electrician to install the meter correctly the first time, thus saving many hours during the installation and system verification process.

The MSI MiniMeter-IITM meets all of the requirements of the ANSI C12.1 standard, ensuring compliance with utility commission requirements for electricity metering.

MiniMeter-I

The MSI MiniMeter is a very small versatile watthour meter designed by MSI to meet virtually any 21st Century Electric Power Metering Requirement. The MSI MiniMeter is used where small size, versatility, and reliability are important. This meter can be used as a stand alone meter or as a key element in an Automatic Metering System. The meter is available for 120/208 VAC and 277/480 VAC applications. The MSI MiniMeter can be used to meter virtually any voltage and current combination when used in conjunction with the proper voltage and current transformers.

MiniMeters are availabe with one, two, and and three elements for all single and 3 Phase applications. The MiniMeter comes standard in 120/240, 120/208, and 277/480 VAC versions. The MiniMeter can use any properly terminated Current Transformer. MSI keeps 100, 200 and 400 amp Current Transformers in stock. Current transformers up to 3000 amps are available.

The MiniMeter has 2 outputs. One is designed to be used with an external digital counter that can be mounted in the same box with the MiniMeter or remoted to a location as much as 200 feet away. The second output is and optically coupled output designed to interface with an Automatic Meter Reading system.

The MiniMeter is very small and versitle. It can be installed almost anywhere. It can be installed as a single meter In The Wall (Shown at the right). It can also be put in any box inside or outside.
